Scheduling Appointments
To schedule a medical appointment, call our care center at 650.596.7000. For your convenience, we offer same-day, evening and advance appointments. Please click here for our appointment hours and driving directions.
To prepare for your first visit with your doctor, you should bring a copy of your health insurance card, a list of your current medications, your co-payment for an office visit and information about your medical history.
After-Hours Care
Sequoia Medical Group has a physician on-call, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. If you experience a non-life threatening need after office hours, you may call our regular phone number at 650.596.7000 and you will be directed to a physician.
An emergency situation is defined as a sudden illness or injury requiring immediate medical intervention. If you feel you are experiencing an emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest hospital.
Referrals to Specialists
If your doctor determines that you need specialty care, you will be referred to a specialist. Services not available within Sequoia Medical Group may require prior authorization. Your doctor’s office will coordinate this authorization process. Authorization decisions are based on your insurance benefits and whether services requested are medically appropriate.
